mini jewelry roll

$ 12.00

This is a PDF SEWING PATTERN that is available for immediate download, NOT a finished product! The PDF is 7 pages long, and includes step-by-step directions with pictures, preparation & construction tips, plus the pattern itself.

the mini jewelry roll
The mini jewelry roll is fun to make for yourself, but also makes a fantastic gift for your bridesmaids, friends, or family members. It features two fully lined interior pockets that are 4.5" deep. The upper pocket is open, and sits underneath a strap with five slots to hang necklaces and bracelets. The lower pocket is zippered to hold smaller items, and sits underneath the ring strap, which attaches with a snap.

finished dimensions
The mini jewelry roll folds in fourths and ties up with two 20" ribbon ties. It is 14" tall and 5" wide when opened, 4" tall when rolled up. (This is *NOT* the pattern for my regular size jewelry roll that was published in "One Yard Wonders: 101 Sewing Projects" in 2009 from Storey Publishing).

variations
Check out my blog for a tutorial on how to make the zipper pocket on the mini jewelry roll expandable!

skill level
The mini jewelry roll is a great project for beginners, but fun for more experienced sewers as well.

Lightweight woven fabrics are perfect for the jewelry roll. Avoid fabrics that are sheer, stretchy, knit, drapey, slippery, heavyweight, or with pile like velvet or faux fur.
